The Sirius Group was established in 1991 within the motor retail industry. Although it enjoyed immense success in this sector, in 2016, the group’s executive took a strategic decision to establish the Sirius Group as a private property fund. This bold move proved to be a step in the right direction. Shortly after this decision was taken, the group’s founder Hugh O’Mahoney, and his son Ross O’Mahoney, gradually started acquiring investment properties and potential developments around South Africa.
